thetipoff collects one thing about you: your email address, if you ask to hear when founding memberships open. Nothing else is collected, and nothing is sold.
What we collect
When you sign up, we keep your email address, the page you signed up on and when. To stop automated abuse, we also keep a one-way scrambled version of your internet address, which can't be turned back into the address itself.
What we use it for
Only to tell you when founding memberships open: one email, no newsletters. We don't share it, sell it or use it for anyone else's marketing.
Where it's kept
In our database (Supabase), and with the email service that sends that one email on our behalf.
Leaving the list
The email will have an unsubscribe link. To have your address deleted at any time, message us on X at @thetipoff_nba and we'll remove it.
Everything else
The site uses no tracking or advertising cookies and no analytics. It remembers your light or dark choice in your own browser, and loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which sees your internet address when it serves them.
